The HOLY GRAIL of airsoft The mighty Asahi M40.
The rarest airsoft gun... There are less than 24 guns in existence!
I have a few boxes of Asahi Blade Bullets I need to find some time to thoroughly test this gun!
I mananged to get 34 shells for this beauty!
Nice one dude! How do you fill the gas in there? Directly in the cartridges, or maybe in the stock?
Or isn't it the famous gun that comes with a pump?

Thank you guys!
Yes real wood stock and you have to use the pump to fill the shells. The brass shells are stock an can take just 5 pumps and the silver ar the hard shells and can take 10 pumps.
I was looking for one for years, I found this one in Hawaii and when I got it it had just 5 shells.
I managed to source some more and now I have 34 shells, 2 pumps, a spare receiver and 11 boxes of Asahi Blade Bullets!!
This gun is still illegal in Japan but you can still find some parts for it but not the gun itself or the bolt and chamber/inner barrel assembly.
This gun has a Magna barrel that was specificaly designed for the blade bullets.
groquik a écrit :Wolf do you test it about range and accuracy since our last discussion ?
Yes I've shot it but the test field was limited and the weather conditions didn't allow me to do any actually test and the results can't be used.
Unfortunately I'm to busy this time of year to repeat the testing .
Plus I'm looking to have the chamber copied and then remake if out of brass or steel.
It's regular .308 Win shaped rounds, aren't they? Then you can make the outer profile of the chamber and get a reamer to do the chambering and setting up proper headspace! As for the reamer, try the Pacific Tool and Gauges ones
