Materials and weight
Chassis is mainly made in aluminum to find the best compromise strength / weight . Naked chassis weighs 2 kg, this is exactly the same as the plastic folding stock of Well MB08 .
Articulation
Hinge is made of steel. It is located in front of the handle, making it the most compact chassis on the Airsoft market when folded. Hinge is perfectly symmetrical: you can fold the stock on the right or left blank according to its assembly. The locking system is also perfectly symmetrical.
Outer barrel collar
The main fault of T96 is the backlash between the receiver and the outer barrel, this causes a significant loss of precision. To overcome this problem, a collar is firmly securing the outer barrel on the chassis, which ensures perfect rigidity and thus a gain in precision.
Grip
The grip is compatible with GBBr / RS grips .
Settings
The butt plate is adjustable in length and height without tools. Same for cheekpad.
Monopod
The monopod is unfolded quickly, and is height adjustable.
Rails
A Picatinny rail over 40 cm replaces the original one. This rail is fixed on to the receiver and the outer barrel collar.
Additional rails of 85 mm can be set on the side and underside of the handguard. It is also possible to set an Harris adapter under the handguard .
Fake charger
A slot is provided for a fake magazine. X96 accepts SR25 AEG magazines. An empty SR25 midcap allows carrying of a t96 magazine.
